Between last-minute packing and getting the house in order for guests I think I drove everyone in the house mad. Turns out, it all worked out in the end. We made our flight in plenty of time, we slept barely at all, made our tight connection (no baggage helped), the car was waiting and the sun was shining! Couldn't be better ... Except that we didn't know what flat we were in so we tried every door until a neighbour helped ;)
Annecy is gorgeous! We are a block from the Lake and spent a lot of time there yesterday and assume the rest of the week will be similar.
